Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Welcome to SerbiaRun. Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully. They apply whenever you visit or use the SerbiaRun public website and related online services (the “Service”), on any device (computer, tablet, or phone).
These Terms affect your legal rights and responsibilities as soon as you use the Service. By accessing or using the Service — including browsing events, creating an account, or submitting a registration — you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This document is a practical product draft and does not replace advice from a qualified lawyer.
1. Who we are and what SerbiaRun is
The SerbiaRun information system is a platform for connecting Organizers and (prospective) Participants through the definition of sporting events, registration processes, and the display of published results.
SerbiaRun provides technology for discovering running and related sporting events in Serbia, viewing event details, registering where available, viewing published participant lists and results, and visiting Organizer (tenant) pages.
SerbiaRun is a technology platform. Unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific event, SerbiaRun is not the Organizer of events listed on the Service and is not a party to the relationship between you and an Organizer.
Contact for these Terms: serbiarun.info@gmail.com.
Related SerbiaRun products (for example the organizer admin panel at https://admin.serbiarun.rs or challenges at https://challenges.serbiarun.rs) may have additional or separate terms. Where those products have their own terms, those terms apply to that product.
2. Scope of these Terms
These Terms apply to the public SerbiaRun website and its subpages used for event discovery, event detail pages, registration, public registrations lists, results, Organizer pages, account/sign-in flows needed for registration, and the legal pages linked from the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. We may also change Service features without prior notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable law remain unaffected.
3. Definitions
“Organizer” means the person or organization that creates or manages an event and related data in SerbiaRun systems.
“Participant” or “(prospective) Participant” means a person who browses, registers for, or appears in connection with an event on the Service.
“Registration data” means information submitted through an event registration form or otherwise provided for participation administration.
“User Content” means text, images, or other materials you or an Organizer upload or enter into the Service (for example event descriptions, banners, or form answers).
4. Accounts and access
Some features (in particular completing a registration) may require a valid email address and an account created through our authentication provider.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at serbiarun.info@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, where required for security, or for operational reasons.
5. Event information and Organizer responsibility
Event details — including dates, locations, distances, fees, registration windows, rules, descriptions, banners, results, and similar information — are provided by Organizers or derived from data they publish through SerbiaRun tools.
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their event information and for fulfilling obligations toward Participants (including any payments, refunds, bibs, safety, insurance, or on-site rules outside this Service).
SerbiaRun does not guarantee that event information is complete, current, or error-free at the moment you view it. Information may be accurate at the time of publication and may change afterward without notice on our side.
6. Registrations
Where online registration is available, submitting a form creates a registration record that is shared with the relevant Organizer so they can administer the event.
Submitting a registration does not automatically mean your place is confirmed, paid, accepted, or that you have a contractual right to start. Organizer rules, payment steps, age limits, medical questionnaires, waivers, or other requirements may apply outside SerbiaRun.
You must enter accurate data. You must not register other people without their permission, except where you are legally authorized (for example a parent registering a minor).
By registering for a sporting event through SerbiaRun, you confirm that you understand how the system works and that you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
7. Public lists, results, and visibility of data
After data is entered into the system, fields that the Organizer marks as publicly visible (commonly first and last name, and any other enabled public fields) may become publicly available within SerbiaRun — for example on registration lists, results tables, and related event views.
SerbiaRun reserves the right to display such Organizer-enabled public fields in public lists (registration lists, rankings/results, and similar), consistent with how sporting platforms typically publish start lists and results.
The responsible Organizer may use entered Participant personal data to run the event. SerbiaRun does not distribute personal data to parties for whom the data was not intended at the time of entry (for example unrelated marketing list brokers).
Details of processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.
8. Payments and Organizer–Participant dealings
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific flow, SerbiaRun does not collect race fees as merchant of record on the public Participant Service described in these Terms.
SerbiaRun accepts no responsibility for correspondence, disputes, refunds, or money transfers between an Organizer and a (prospective) Participant.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: using it unlawfully; impersonating others; submitting false or misleading registration data; attempting to disrupt, overload, scrape aggressively, probe, or reverse engineer the Service beyond what applicable law allows; uploading malware; harvesting personal data without a lawful basis; or interfering with other users’ or Organizers’ use of the Service.
We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict access accordingly.
10. User Content and license
You (or the Organizer, as applicable) retain ownership of rights you hold in User Content. You grant SerbiaRun a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service (including public event pages, registration, and results displays).
You represent that you have the rights needed to provide User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant SerbiaRun a perpetual, royalty-free right to use that feedback without obligation to compensate or credit you.
11. Intellectual property of SerbiaRun
All rights in the SerbiaRun brand, logos, site design, layout, software, and original platform content belong to SerbiaRun or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit those materials without prior written permission.
Event names, logos, and banners remain the responsibility of the respective Organizers or rights holders. Third-party trademarks appearing on the Service belong to their owners.
12. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites or services (including other SerbiaRun products, social networks, or Organizer pages). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, legality, or privacy practices.
Opening third-party links is at your own risk. Review their terms and privacy notices separately.
13. Availability, maintenance, and force majeure
We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible operation with every device or browser.
Ongoing expansion and improvement may cause temporary problems, delays, or downtime. SerbiaRun is not obliged to notify users of every detail or upgrade plan in advance.
SerbiaRun is not liable for disruptions caused by force majeure or events outside our reasonable control, including failures of communication networks, gateways, hosting providers, or sabotage.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SerbiaRun disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
SerbiaRun is not responsible for the truthfulness of data entered by Participants or Organizers, for printed materials produced by others, or for sporting risks inherent in events. Participation decisions and on-site safety are between you and the Organizer.
SerbiaRun shall be responsible only for content that SerbiaRun itself produces and publishes as platform operator — not for Organizer-supplied event content, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SerbiaRun is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or pure economic damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of (or inability to use) the Service.
This includes damage from transmission errors, interruptions, system failures, incorrect contents, deletion of data, viruses, or similar events, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law of the Republic of Serbia or other applicable mandatory rules.
16. Deletion requests
A (prospective) Participant may request deletion of their own data from SerbiaRun by emailing serbiarun.info@gmail.com and stating which sporting event and/or account the request concerns.
Deletion may limit or remove ability to use parts of the Service. Organizers may retain copies where required by law, sporting federations, or legitimate administration of past events. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
17. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are described in our Cookie Policy. Those documents form part of your agreement to use the Service.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Courts in Serbia have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may give you a right to bring proceedings in another venue.
19. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and SerbiaRun regarding the public Participant Service described here, and supersede prior informal understandings on the same subject.
We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Service. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
